600 sq ft addition plus renovation of existing structure

This extensive remodel of a 1983 home gave it new finishes and floor plan. The existing house was a complicated floor plan on 3 ½ floors including a poorly constructed basement. With the addition of several very large steel and wood beams we dramatically opened the interior spaces. New kitchen, master bath, master closet & laundry, media room, wine room, and exercise room comprise the new floor plan while keeping the existing bedrooms and bathrooms. Also added was a free standing studio with a bathroom which doubles as guest quarters. A large glass overhead door provides light and an expansive opening to the outside. The existing exterior cladding: painted wood sheet siding, was replaced with a commercial grade corrugated metal siding with Ipe accents. All new Gerkin aluminum windows complete the exterior palate. Ipe accents and siding in the portecochere add material detail and warmth.
